Benjy and Mouse (Formerly Bluey and Dinah)
Hi,

We adopted Benjy (formerly Bluey) and Mouse (formerly Dina) from you on 28th December 2005.

When we first brought them home Benjy settled in instantly, and even insisted on sleeping in our bed with us on his first night (a habit he has continued ever since).  Mouse was a bit more timid and whilst she would purr if we put her on our laps, after a few minutes she'd disappear to sleep on her own in another room.  Benjy would often go and comfort her by giving her a good licking!

Mouse had conjunctivitis when we first adopted her, which meant we had to put cream in her eye every day - and she did not like that one little bit!

But after a couple of weeks the medication had stopped, and she decided we would do after all, and since then we can't get rid of her :)  She now sleeps in the bedroom on one of her two beds (a summer bed and a winter bed - she's too much of a lady to share a bed with us!) and spends a lot of time chatting to us about life in general.  Benjy is the strong silent type - no doubt used to not getting a word in edgeways with Mouse about.

They love being outside: though poor Mouse now has to have suntan lotion put on her ears and nose, and she doesn't like that either; Benjy has been bringing us a charming collection of small twigs and leaves.

Here is a picture of them curled up on the sofa together.

Best wishes from Jennifer, Paul, Benjy and Mouse
