Cheeky

Just wanted to let you know that Cheeky has settled in very well, Her initial nervousness has now faded away, and true to her name, she is fun and cheeky! Once she had settled, she started to walk around, purring really loud, padding nearly every inch of the carpet with her paws! Very happy. She now has full run of the house, but did not take to the box and safe area. Instead, she is most happy to be in her favourite place, which is her own blue blanket, on her own chair, which used to be my chair! Cheeky sits in between us as we watch television or whatever! She is gradually getting used to sitting on my lap. Cheeky likes to snooze during the day! Occasionally glancing up to see what's going on until my daughters come home from school, then she's ready to play!

Cheeky obviously wants to go out, as she goes and sits in the bay window at the front of the house for ages, and then goes to the back of the house where she tries to chase the birds in the garden, although she knows there is a window stopping her!. She looks at me with frustration, sniffing the fresh air through the tiny airvents in the patio door! I feel for her! but she still has a way to go before the month is up!

Just wanted to say thank you for your help in adopting Cheeky, and hope to pop in soon!
