Mary and William
Mary here. I just wanted to let you know how we are
getting on in Highgate, and to thank you for all your help in finding us our new
home. I have recovered well now my kids have left home and I have had some 'me
time' here!!! Mummy and Daddy spoil us rotten and think we are the most beautiful cats in the world.
Granny says she wants to come back as us in her next life!
I bet you would hardly recognise me now. Mummy says I
am getting chubby but my coat is all silky and I have the biggest sparkly eyes ever!
William (Billy-Ray or 'Valentine' as he is sometimes known) would surprise you too. When we first arrived
he hid under the table, but only for an hour and now he really is the most mischievous boy in the world! He
plays for hours on end with his favourite mouse and ping pong ball. He carries all of the toys under the
coffee table and brings out the ones he wants to play with at 9pm and drops them by Mum's feet. He really
loves Daddy and they watch match of the day together side by side on the sofa, and Mum and I have girl-time
in the other room.
Personally, I like Mummy's bed after a nice dish of
cod soup and an outing with my catnip carrot (Billy has a catnip cigar and thinks he is very grown up).
When I get up in the morning I jump up and down on Mummy and purr in her face until she gets up. I don't
like them going to work, but we get very excited when they come home because it's playtime outside!!
We have got a lovely garden full of birds and we love it out there. I had to be rescued from the oak tree by
daddy the other day but now I'm very good. Billy really is a teenage brother but we are very close and
play a lot together- especially running up and down the garden and up the stairs. I have made friends with
the black and white cat from next door as she comes and looks through the window at us and wants to play. We
have been ever so good- but we did set of the burglar
alarm few times and that was scary!!
I hope you like these pictures of
us - Mary's in the tree and Billy's in the garden. Mummy says you can visit us anytime so we can say
thanks properly. I hope my kitties found nice homes like this.
Lots of Love,
Mary and William.
