| Momo
(formerly Angel) Hi all at Cat Rescue,  Just another update on our Angel we adopted from you. From the first minute
she was up and wandering around the house, and trying to climb onto people
on the couch! She's become even more relaxed and friendly through the weeks,
and is the best thing about coming home from work.Angel (who we renamed Momo) is incredibly affectionate and loves attention and company, she comes when you call her and seems to purr ALL of the time. She likes to be in the same room as people, tends to sleep at the foot of the bed, and has an enormous appetite, ALWAYS in the kitchen trying to sucker you into some Alaskan salmon. Momo plays a lot and has a huge amount of energy, often chasing a crumpled ball of paper or her green cat teaser toy. Her loss of her hind leg has not got her down at all, she runs about and jumps and climbs so well it's impossible to tell until you notice she's actually a bit of a hop along. It is that much sweeter to see that she hasn't been too badly damaged by her mistreatment and injury, and that she can still have a full active day.  We're thinking of getting her a playmate, possibly a kitten or a very
relaxed cat that she can have fun with and keep company, though she might
need to be the boss!Our cat is also a fantastic hunter, ridding our house of mice within the first two weeks she was here and so far not a single one has dared sneak back into the kitchen. Just want to say thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for rehoming this great cat with us, she is an absolute joy and part of the family. |
