Hi there,

We adopted Sid early last week and I wanted to let you know how he is getting on.

He's been settling in very quickly and has made himself at home which is brilliant - no mess and no torn furniture! He's enormous too, and it's like having a small leopard lounging around the flat. However, he is desperate to get outside and spends much of the day staring out of the window. He's fascinated by the back door and takes every opportunity he can to sniff at 
the air coming in from outside - he knows there's a garden on the other side and can't wait to get out there.

This is perhaps making him a bit frustrated and he's a big cat with lots of energy so he does tear round the flat every now and again. But it's only a few more weeks before we can start letting him out and apart from that (and the thumps we get if we pet him too much - good grief, he's strong), everything is great - we couldn't be happier.
