Tilly

To all my dear friends at CPL,

I thought it was about time that I let you know how I’m getting on – after all, I’ve been with my new family almost 4 months now. (31st October 2005 was my adoption date.) I’m sending you some photos which were taken a little while ago but there have been some problems with the computer so you’ve had to wait for them, unfortunately. (And I’ve been longing for you to see them because people tell me that I’m very beautiful – in fact, I sometimes wonder if my name is Tilly or Gorgeous; I hear that so many times!)

The photos show me in my garden (the jungle part), in the kitchen (one of my favourite rooms – it’s where the food is and I LOVE my food! – and I like the nice warm heated tiles), and on one of my beds. (I have my own bed but I’ve found 4 others which I prefer. This is one of them.)

I have settled very nicely into my new home and everybody loves me very much. I was shy and nervous at first and even though I’m still rather timid I am very affectionate. I love having a fuss made of me!

Things I like are: playing with my toys, (especially “killing” my toy bee), jumping on shadows, having adventures in the garden, sitting on newspapers that people are reading, and TUNA!!

Things I definitely DON’T like are: BIG BIRDS like magpies and crows – and the other day I saw another cat in MY garden and I was very cross indeed about that.

Well, that’s all for now – time for me to curl up and have a nap. (I haven’t quite decided which cosy corner to requisition yet but there’s plenty of choice!)

Love and lots of contented purrs

From Tilly.xx
