Visit the centre to choose a cat. No appointment is necessary, just drop in, any day of the week, during cat viewing hours

Cat viewing hours

Tuesdays-Thursdays 11am - 3pm
Fridays-Mondays 12 - 4pm

• please bring a completed "request to adopt" form with you when you visit to help speed up the process
• find us at 135 Junction Road, Archway, London N19 5PX (see contact us for more details)
• unlike some other shelters, we do not charge admission!
• you can bring your car - there is pay and display parking right outside
• we're open 7 days a week (yes, even Sundays and Bank Holidays!)
• allow at least 30 minutes for your visit

We will then visit your home to give you individual advice on settling your new cat.

Return to the centre to adopt your cat.

The whole process from initial visit to adoption takes between 24 to 48 hrs so make sure you are ready to adopt when you visit us.

Unlike other homing centres, you can go into our pens to meet any cat you like. We think you should be able to get to know the cats before you make your decision, so you know you'll be getting the perfect cat for you.

If your home cannot provide cat access to the outdoors then you may need to be patient as most of our cats would like to be able to play outside! We do get some indoor cats, but not as many. Just pop in and see what we have. If you live outside of North London you are very welcome but the adoption process may take a little bit longer than usual.

All our cats have been vet-checked, de-fleaed, de-wormed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered (if over 4 months old). They also come with 6 weeks Pet Plan insurance.

If you are particularly interested in adopting kittens please indicate this on your request to adopt form. Kitten season is generally between May and September but there can be availability at other times. Please note that we generally home kittens in pairs.
